About me

I am doing my PhD in psychology in the field of early psychosis detection and intervention and its neurobiological correlates in children, youth and adults. My main focus lies in depersonalization and derealization phenomena. Those are states in which an estrangement from the own body or the world occur. Depersonalization and derealization are often seen in psychosis risk symptoms. Despite they cause a lot of pain for patients, very little is known about the disorder and its neurobiological underpinnings. Therefore, my aim is to shed light on depersonalization and derealization phenomena.
