Our research group aims to better understand the treatment experiences and needs of young people with an emerging or first manifestation of a mental disorder and their families. Thereby, we apply a transdiagnostic and dimensional approach that acknowledges the heterogenous trajectories of mental disorders and allows for the amelioration of the impact of a mental disorder in its early stage and the reduction of the risk of progression trough early intervention. We use digital technology for the assessment and intervention across diagnostic boundaries, severity spectrums and stages of treatment.
