About me
Since July 2024, I have been working as a Senior Research Assistant at the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, UPD Bern. In my role on the inpatient unit, I am responsible for developing and implementing programs that promote healthy sleep and physical activity.
My research focuses on the complex interrelationships between sleep, physical activity, and mental health in adolescence. I am particularly interested in designing and evaluating preventive and therapeutic interventions targeting these domains.
Currently, I serve as Principal Investigator of the SLEEPAC study – a multi-component sleep intervention for adolescent psychiatric outpatients with comorbid sleep problems. The intervention integrates evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), bright light therapy, and physical activity counseling to improve sleep and overall mental health outcomes.
