About me Andrea Wyssen is a leading psychologist and postdoc at the University Hospital of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy in Bern (senior Prof. Michael Kaess). Andrea Wyssen is a cognitive-behavioural psychotherapist and supervisor. She did her PhD at the University of Fribourg with a focus on the aetiology and the treatment of eating disorders [1-7]. During her postdoc at the University of Fribourg she developed and evaluated a guided internet-based treatment for binge-eating disorder [8, 9]. Andrea Wyssen is experienced in effectiveness research in clinical routine care [10, 11]. Currently, she focuses her research on the psychotherapeutic process and on the investigation of the alternative dimensional model for personality disorders. Andrea Wyssen is responsible for structured diagnostics in the research group. Andrea Wyssen published cognitive-behavioural treatment manuals [12, 13] and she is active as a lecturer at the Universities of Fribourg and Bern as well as at several post-graduate trainings for psychotherapists. Andrea Wyssen submitted her habilitation thesis in 2022.
