The research group's primary focus is the study of psychopathology in early childhood, with a particular emphasis on its diagnosis and the development of interdisciplinary interventions for the treatment of infants and young children. The group's research targets the development and validation of test instruments for primary attachment figures, with the objective of enhancing the efficacy of interventions in future studies. Additionally, the developmental trajectories of patients undergo monitoring to facilitate a more precise identification of risk and protective factors. To this end, a cohort is established, beginning in early childhood, with the objective of enhancing the interdisciplinary care of infants and young children with mental illness. Furthermore, feeding disorders and ARFID, a recent addition to the ICD-11 classification, are at the core of ongoing research. In the future, the subjects of 'media consumption in early childhood' and 'autism spectrum disorders' will also become the focus of current research.
