Our mission is to apply translational research methods in order to understand abnormal behavior in psychiatric disorders. The ultimate goal is to turn knowledge on the pathobiology of behavior into starting points for the development of individualized treatment options. Our research focuses on abnormalities of communication processes in affective disorders and the psychosis spectrum. We aim to improve social integration, real world functioning and quality of life of our patients.
